“Just a comment. As Fr. Allyn’s parents we would have loved to be at the event to honour him. Such a beautiful idea. We had come to love being present in your church and to celebrate special occasions, such as meeting Frank, Cardinal Leo. We admired the beautification of the church, the Sanctuary and all the other things accomplished in the past 8+ years. Sadly, his father and I will be in Ireland at the time of the event you’re planning. However, we will be there in spirit and want to thank all of you for the welcome he received and the support he engendered in his time with you. Lastly, we are very grateful and appreciative of the St. Thomas the Apostle parishioners. We have been warmly welcomed every time we visited. God bless you all. Mary T. Rose.”
